US man beats one in 9.7 trillion odds to win lottery twice

Stokes, who has won USD 25,000 a year for up to 20 years, which equals a USD brought the prize down to USD 390,000 pre-tax, or USD 273,000 after tax.

His winnings were doubled to USD 546,000, after his family gifted him a season pass to the Massachusetts State Lottery Lucky for Life drawing with their lucky numbers and he bought a second ticket with the exact same numbers.

Stokes plans to use the winnings to pay for his son’s college tuition and his daughter’s remaining car payments, as well as take his family on a vacation.
