After Motorola’s exclusive Moto X, Moto G and Moto E launches on Flipkart, Indian-smartphone brand Karbonn has followed its footsteps and launched the A50s exclusively on the site.
According to a press statement by the company, the device will be available only on Flipkart and is priced at Rs 2,790. This is a low-budget end Android device which runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Other features include: A MediaTek dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 3.5 inch TFT LCD with a resolution of 480×320 pixels, which the company claims is the first for a phone priced less than Rs 3,000.
The smartphone is a dual-SIM device, has 256MB RAM and 512MB internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB. It sports 0.3MP resolution front camera and a rear camera with 2MP resolution along with LED flash support. The device is Wi-Fi enabled.
Karbonn’s last big launch was in March when it had revealed the hexa-core powered Titanium Hexa phablet with Android KitKat for Rs 16,900. That though was an Amazon exlcusive, which is why it’s surprising that Karbonn has chosen Flipkart this time around.
